Earthquake

At 3:59AM on February 10th there was an earthquake in Illinois. Yes I said Illinois. It was pretty scary. It was a 3.8 so I am sure to all the Cali people that is nothing, but to a girl who has lived most of her life in the prairies of Nebraska it was significant. I have always wanted to feel an earthquake, mostly so I could say that I have been in one, but this was weird. I have to admit that I thought maybe Jesus had come back, but then I realized that I had not heard the trumpet, so I went to my other thought that it was an earthquake. My son who is 1 year old, slept through the whole thing. This kid will wake at the sound of my feet moving on the carpet to cover him in the middle of the night, but won't wake up to a loud boom and the walls shaking. Go figure!
